Ghostwriting, Rewriting, Technical Writing,
Any Writing...
Have an idea for a book, but you just
can't seem to write it?
Need an article for
your web site or ezine?
Know what you want
the software to do, but just can't communicate your
needs so that the programmers you hire understand?
If you lack the
English skills to present the professional image you want for your business writing, or don't have the time or the in-house resources
to complete your project, let us write your
document for you.
Our
Writing Services:
Ghostwriting:
With your background information and notes or through
our own research and interviews, we put together
a well-written document ready to publish under your
byline. Our Rate: $60
per hour.
ReWriting (aka Substantive Editing): we reorganize and rewrite your document,
developing content that is logical, accurate,
complete, and presented appropriately for your
intended audience. Our Rate: $50 per hour.
(If
your document does not need a complete rewrite, you may
want to look at our editing
and proofreading services.)
Technical Requirements Writing: From your
notes and descriptions, we produce the detailed
requirements instructing your software developers
exactly how the code they produce is required to
perform. Our Rate: $70 per hour.
Technical
Manuals and Users Guides: Based on notes, descriptions,
requirements documents, interviews, and even the
code itself, we produce manuals or users guides
geared to either a technical or non-technical audience
as approporiate. Our Rate: $70 per hour.
How We Work:
If you've looked
at other writing or rewriting services, you may
have been expecting per word or per page charges.
We charge by time instead because it is the most
fair and equitable method.
Documents
you submit for rewriting should be in either word (.doc), rich
text (.rtf), or ascii text (.txt) format. Word format
is preferred.
If you submit a Word formatted document, we will
do all our corrections using the "Track Changes"
feature. This means you can immediately see what
we've done because the changes are marked. You also
have the option of accepting or rejecting the changes
as you see fit - giving you complete creative control
over the final document.
If you submit a
txt or rtf document for rewriting, changes will be made to a copy
of the file and you will receive both the original
and revised file copies.
All documents we
produce from scratch will be provided to you in
Word (.doc) format.
For all our client
assignments, we work diligently to do a high-quality
job in the least amount of time. Our minimum
charge is one half hour, with additional billing
in 15 minute increments.
Compare our rates with
industry standard fees, and you'll see we are very competitive.
We prefer to work
via electronic file exchange (aka email). However,
if you require snail mail, our direct costs - such
as delivery services - will include an additional
$5.00 handling fee.
Rush jobs, where we
need to begin work immediately or to work evenings
or weekends, incur an additional 25 percent fee.
How To Submit:
Simply click
here to send us an email submission, with any
documents included as file attachments. Indicate
in the text of the email:
- your name and email address,
- how soon you
need the project completed (please be realistic),
-
and the type of service you are requesting (eg,
ghostwriting, rewriting, technical requirements,
or technical/users manual).
It is
also helpful if you include information about your
target audience, and any notes, outlines, and descriptions that
you may have for ghostwriting or technical writing requests.
If our
schedule permits us to accept your work, we will respond with an
estimated bill and payment instructions, along with
our targeted completion date. This date assumes
our work starts promptly, which means your initial
payment must be made promptly. Our payments are
handled electronically via PayPal, unless you request
payment via an offline method.
It's a relatively
painless process, which is more difficult to describe
than to do. You can get
started by clicking here to email your submission.
